The story behind Fillbook
Built by a trader.Designed for traders.
I'm Justin, and I built Fillbook. It grew out of wanting a clearer way for traders to understand their performance and protect the progress they make.
The goal: help traders see their own patterns, respect their risk, and review every session with purpose.

Why I started Fillbook
Trading can be a difficult process to navigate. Recording a result is one thing; understanding why it happened, recognizing repeated mistakes, and learning from the decisions behind it is another.
I wanted to build something that could help traders look beyond individual wins and losses and get a clearer picture of their performance, habits, and risk.
That idea became Fillbook: a trading journal built around helping traders understand their process and make more informed decisions.
What I want Fillbook to stand for
Understand your performance
Look beyond headline P&L to the patterns in your trading: the setups that pay, the hours that cost you, the habits that repeat.
Respect risk and discipline
Keep risk awareness and consistency at the center of the process, with your drawdown and daily loss room in view.
Learn from every session
Turn your trade history and your reviews into specific things to work on next time.
Built with traders in mind
Fillbook is a trading journal for futures and prop-firm traders. Your trades come in by auto-sync from Tradovate, NinjaTrader, Quantower, Rithmic or Hyperprop, or from a CSV export. From there it shows patterns such as revenge trading and overtrading, and how close you are to your drawdown and daily loss limits, measured against the rules you set for each account. The behavior analytics come with any paid plan, and auto-sync with Core and above; the 14-day free trial includes both, with one auto-sync connection.
Fillbook warns; it does not place or block orders. It measures only from the trades it has, and nothing on this site is financial advice.
A note to traders
I built Fillbook because I believe traders deserve better tools for understanding their own performance. The goal isn't to promise easy wins. It's to help make the process of reviewing, learning, and managing risk more deliberate.
