ATAS Trading Journal

ATAS is a trading platform known for order-flow and volume analysis. Fillbook is a trading journal for futures and prop-firm traders. This page explains how to get your ATAS trade history into Fillbook, what you get once it is there, and what the import does not do.

How trades get from ATAS into Fillbook

Fillbook imports ATAS trades from a CSV file. In ATAS, open the Trading section, then Trades History, and choose Export to CSV (menu names can differ slightly between ATAS versions). In Fillbook, open Import, pick ATAS as the source and drop the file in. The first time, you confirm which column is the symbol, side, quantity, price and time; Fillbook remembers that mapping for your next import.

ATAS → CSV export → Fillbook → Journal → Analytics → Risk insights

What you get once your trades are in

Your ATAS trades land in the same journal as the rest of your trading: a calendar of daily results, win rate and profit factor, R-multiples when you add planned risk, and setup and time-of-day breakdowns. If you trade a prop-firm account, Fillbook tracks your daily loss and drawdown against your firm's rules and shows how much room you have left.

What the ATAS import does not do

There is no live connection to ATAS: trades appear when you import a file, not as you trade. Fillbook does not sign in to your ATAS account and never places, changes or cancels an order. The import has not been tested against every ATAS version or export setting, so check your first import against your ATAS trade history.

Importing the same file twice

Fillbook identifies each imported trade by its own data, so importing the same ATAS export again updates the trades already there instead of counting them twice. If you export overlapping date ranges, the overlap is not duplicated.
