Quantower Trading Journal

Fillbook connects to Quantower through a small indicator you add to a chart. Once it is running, fills reach your journal as you trade, with no CSV export step between sessions. You can also import Quantower's Trades export by hand.

How trades get from Quantower into Fillbook

Install the Fillbook Sync indicator (copy one file into Quantower's Indicators folder, or run the installer script), generate a sync token in your Fillbook account, and paste it into the indicator's settings. From there, fills push to Fillbook automatically while Quantower is open and the indicator is on a chart.

What is automatic, and what to know

Fills sync as they happen. Fills made while Quantower is closed or the indicator is off are not sent, so import those from Quantower's Trades export (open the Trades panel, then its menu, then Export Data). Name a Fillbook account exactly like your Quantower account so trades land in the right place. A name that does not match arrives unassigned and can be moved in Settings.

What Fillbook analyzes once trades land

The same analytics stack as every other Fillbook trade: R-multiple, setup and time-of-day breakdowns, Edge Score, and rule-based behavioral detection (revenge trading, overtrading), computed from your synced Quantower history the moment it arrives.

Plan requirement

Live Quantower auto-sync is part of Core and Elite, and the 14-day free trial includes one supported auto-sync connection, so the indicator can be your trial connection. On the Free plan you can still import Quantower's Trades export manually via CSV with automatic column mapping.

Frequently asked questions

Yes. The indicator runs inside your own Quantower installation. Without it, Quantower trade history can still be imported into Fillbook from the Trades export (CSV).

No. Fillbook is an independent product that connects to Quantower through its own indicator. See the disclaimer at the bottom of this page.

It has been tested end to end on a Quantower simulator account. Quantower is only the screen you trade on: if your account is held at a broker or prop firm Fillbook connects to directly (for example Tradovate), connecting there is simpler and needs no files.
