Journaling Multiple Funded Prop-Firm Accounts

Running more than one funded account is normal for an active prop-firm trader — different firms, different evaluation stages, or the same firm at different sizes. What's genuinely different account to account is the rules; what should stay separate is each account's own results. Here's how that actually works in Fillbook, and just as importantly, what it doesn't do.

Each account keeps its own rules

A prop-firm rule set (drawdown type, daily-loss limit, consistency requirement) is configured per account, not once for your whole profile. An account's daily-loss and drawdown tracking is checked only against the rules linked to that specific account, and never falls back to a different account's numbers — so a $50K evaluation and a $150K funded account with different rule sets are never accidentally cross-checked against each other's limits.

Results stay separate by account

Switching the account selector filters the entire app — Dashboard, Trades, Reports, Calendar — to that one account's trade history. There's no blended or averaged view across accounts: a losing day on one account doesn't get smoothed out by a winning day on another in anything you look at, which matters if a firm evaluates you strictly on that one account's own numbers.

One view of risk across every account at once

The Prop Firm Rules page adds an all-accounts summary once you have two or more accounts with rules configured: each account's drawdown buffer and today's remaining daily-loss room, sorted worst-first, so "is any account close to breaching right now" is answerable in one glance instead of clicking through accounts one at a time. This is a risk-status view, not a combined P&L or equity figure — it never merges accounts' dollar results into one number.

How many accounts you can track

Account limits are set by plan, not by an arbitrary cap unrelated to what you're paying for.

Starter: 1 account — Core: up to 5 accounts — Elite: unlimited accounts

Applying one journal entry to more than one account

On Elite, a single journal entry can be applied to more than one account at once — useful when the same day's plan, mindset, or market read genuinely applied across several accounts you traded that day, rather than writing the same entry out several times. Each account's entry still lives against that account's own history; this shares the written content, not the trade data itself.

Multiple broker or prop-firm logins

If you hold several logins with the same broker platform — one per prop firm, for instance — each login's accounts sync independently, and per-account commission rates can differ to match what each specific firm actually charges, rather than one commission assumption applied everywhere.

What this doesn't do

To be direct about the boundaries: there is no feature that copies or mirrors a trade from one account into another automatically, and there is no combined P&L, equity curve, or win-rate figure that aggregates numbers across accounts into a single total — every number you see is scoped to whichever one account you're currently viewing, except the risk-status overview described above, which shows accounts side by side without combining their figures into one.

Keep every funded account's rules straight, automatically

Fillbook tracks each account's drawdown and daily-loss room against its own rules, with an at-a-glance view across every account you're running.

Frequently asked questions

Yes — each account's prop-firm rule configuration (drawdown type, daily-loss limit, consistency requirement) is independent, and an account is only ever checked against its own linked rules.

No — there's no combined or aggregated P&L, equity, or win-rate view across accounts. Every page shows one account's numbers at a time (whichever is currently selected), with the exception of the risk-status overview, which shows accounts side by side but doesn't merge their figures.

Starter covers 1 account, Core covers up to 5, and Elite is unlimited.

No — there's no trade-copying or mirroring feature between accounts. Each account's trade history reflects only what actually happened, or was imported/synced, for that specific account.
